The Whale

The Whale is situated down a quant bougainvillea lined street in the heart of the historic village. A covered porch welcomes guests to the house and is the perfect location to relax with a good book and a cool drink after a day at the Pink Sand Beach.

The main floor of this historic home offers a spacious open living and dining area. The living area features a classic built-in book case with plentiful storage for books, photos and board games and plentiful seating for large families. The dining area has a large dining table and game table. The dining room also features a unique unfinished Abaco Pine wall that has aged to a lovely grey patina.
The traditional Bahamian kitchen is located to the left of the living room and has a double French door leading out to a paved patio. The patio is completely private from the street, equipped with two dining tables, one of them shaded by a roof.

The guest bedroom with ensuite bath is located behind the living area. The master suite and ensuite bath encompasses the entire second storey. The master suite has direct access to the home’s spacious rooftop deck with panoramic views over the village and the island’s picturesque harbour. The third bedroom with an ensuite shower room is access via the garden.

The spacious garden is one of the largest in the village and could easily accommodate a swimming pool and additional guest quarters.
