Vitus Matare, Designer/Builder :: Ocean Panorama :: Perched high above Point Dume, with a commanding view of the Pacific Ocean from Catalina to the Channel Islands, this new construction project is a refined study in modernist design sensibilities. The seamless integration of form and function, from overall concept through materials selection, this unique home successfully incorporates both the relaxed luxury of the Malibu beach house and the formal geometries of high art. At once lofty in its vision yet rooted in bedrock, the graceful composition seems to float above its dramatic hillside site.
